Helping Teachers Teach Happier!

All About Me

With over 14 years of teaching experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, I’ve developed a deep passion for early years education. I believe that learning through play is the key to building strong, lasting foundations for every child’s future success. As a qualified SENCO, I’ve also had the privilege of supporting pupils with special educational needs, ensuring that every learner feels seen, supported, and included. My aim is to share creative, practical ideas that make teaching both fun and meaningful — for educators, parents, and most importantly, the children we’re all here for.

Why the Early Years matter

The Early Years are a vital stage in every child’s development — it’s during these first five years that the foundations for lifelong learning, behaviour, and well-being are laid. High-quality early education nurtures curiosity, builds confidence, and helps children develop essential skills like communication, problem-solving, and emotional resilience. Through play-based, child-led learning, young children make sense of the world around them in a way that feels natural and joyful. Investing in these early stages means giving every child the best possible start, setting them up not just for school, but for life.
